Brigade Group has announced a major development in its residential portfolio by signing a joint development agreement (JDA) for an 8.63-acre land parcel in Gunjur, East Bengaluru. The update was shared through a regulatory filing on April 15, highlighting the company’s continued focus on expanding its presence in key urban markets.
Large Township Planned in East Bengaluru
As part of this agreement, Brigade Group is planning to develop a 39-acre integrated residential township. The project is strategically located along the Whitefield–Sarjapur Road corridor, known for its rapid growth, improved connectivity, and proximity to major IT and business hubs.
The company has estimated the project's gross development value (GDV) at around ₹7,200 crore. This makes it one of the significant upcoming residential developments in East Bengaluru.

Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises Limited, said that the Whitefield–Sarjapur area continues to see strong demand for residential projects. This demand is mainly driven by improved infrastructure, enhanced road connectivity, and easier access to major employment hubs.
She added that this deal strengthens Brigade Group's residential pipeline in East Bengaluru and marks an important milestone for the company.
